🕴️Wealth Principle #2: Abundance Mindset

The secret to generating wealth

Welcome to Wealth Principles

We break down one wealth principle a week to become richer together.

Today’s wealth principle is about an abundance mindset.

Abundance Mindset

Scarcity and abundance.

Two polar opposites.

Two ways to approach the same problem.

  • “I need money.”

  • “I need to get rich.”

  • “I need to have this new BMW.”

All of these statements scream scarcity.

Scarcity breeds desperation and neediness.

These are unattractive qualities.

The universe hates neediness.

When was the last time you went out with someone who was needy towards you?

Who wanted your time, money, and attention?

That’s right, you didn’t.

The other way to approach a problem is from a place of abundance.

An abundance mindset is about being confident in one’s self that you’ll get what you want.

You don’t need to be needy and chase every opportunity because you know that while wealth is abundant, time and focus aren’t.

Apply the same thought process to wealth creation.

Many people think that money and wealth are zero-sum games.

You take money from someone else, and now they’ve less money.

This view of the world comes from scarcity.

Wealth creation is about abundance.

You make money by providing people with something they want.

So it’s not about taking money from them.

It’s about providing value in exchange for money, so in the end, you’re creating more.

A scarcity mindset comes from thinking that there’s a finite number of something.

But when it comes to money and wealth, that’s not the case.

All of the wealth has been generated from:

  • People.

  • Technology.

  • Productivity.

It’s not stolen from someone else.

It’s generated as a result of someone’s action.

Let’s take Jeff Bezos as an example.

His net worth right now is $120 billion.

How did he generate that much wealth?

By creating Amazon, the largest online retailer.

With Amazon, people get almost instant deliveries.

Also, tons of people use his platform to sell products online, taking advantage of the distribution.

So while Jeff Bezos is rewarded handsomely for creating Amazon, he has helped a lot more people become wealthier in the process.

So think about how you can provide value to the world, making it even more abundant.

Adopt the same mindset in everything you do.

Health, wealth, dating.

Don’t go around chasing opportunities, dates, and money from a place of scarcity because you’ll be needy, scaring them away.

Chase opportunities from a place of abundance, knowing that nothing you want is a scarce resource.

That’s your power.
